Who we work with
Aberlour Youthpoint – Moray works with young people in the Moray area aged 12 and over and their families.
Service aims and what we offer
The aim of Aberlour Youthpoint – Moray is to provide disadvantaged, excluded and vulnerable young people and their families with support to enable them to gain and retain control of their own lives and remain in their own homes and communities.
This is achieved by providing a range of services that meet the needs of the young people including:
• support for young people aged 12-16 who are vulnerable and challenging,
• mentoring support for young people aged 13-18 affected by problematic substance use.
Outcomes
This service contributes to the following Scottish Government National Outcomes.
• Our young people are successful learners, confident individuals, effective communicators and responsible citizens.
• Our children have the best start in life and are ready to succeed.
• Our children live longer, healthier lives.
• The life chances for children, young people and families at risk have improved.
• Our children live safe from crime, disorder and danger
Referral and Assessment process
Referrals in Moray come from Social Work.

Contact Hours
The service operates on a needs led basis and therefore the hours vary, often working evenings and occasionally weekends. The office base is open Monday to Friday 9am -5pm
